Over the years, STAS has set up a team specializing in carbon / rodding shop whose efforts have recently led to the development of a tracking management system (software) completely oriented on the technological bases of industry 4.0.

Anodes represent a significant cost to produce aluminum. Production and use data are dispersed, non-existent or unrelated (no traceability) The quality of raw materials is increasingly difficult to stabilize. This context makes it difficult to optimize the process and reduce the use of net carbon.
